Setting Up Alerts

Alerts notify a recipient whenever a survey response meets a condition you define — for example, emailing a manager whenever a respondent gives a low NPS score (a “detractor”).

To create an alert

  1. Open your survey template and select the Alerts tab.
  2. Click Add Alert.
  3. Choose the question to monitor (referenced by its label, for example nps_recommend).
  4. Choose a condition: Greater than, Less than, Equals, Does not equal, Is empty, or Is not empty.
  5. Enter the comparison value (for example, 7).
  6. Enter the recipient email address that should be notified.
  7. Save.

Example: Monitor nps_recommend, condition “Less than”, value “7”, recipient manager@yourcompany.com. This alerts whenever someone gives an NPS score below 7.

Workspace Alerts view

The Alerts section in the top navigation shows alerts triggered across all surveys. It includes a search box and a “Show hidden alerts” toggle. Alerts appear here only after a respondent submits an answer that meets an alert’s condition.
