Q30 Min Utilization (M1)
- Description: Heat map showing number of OR locations in use for every 30 minute block of every day of month defined in filter for “M1” (Month 1). It is important to set the date range for M1 filter as follows:
- Start date = First day of month desired
- Finish date = First day of following month
- For example to view September, date range for M1 would be 09/01/2020 - 10/01/2020.
Q30 Min Utilization (M2)
- Description: Heat map showing number of OR locations in use for every 30 minute block of every day of month defined in filter for “M2” (Month 2). It is important to set the date range for M2 filter as follows:
- Start date = First day of month desired
- Finish date = First day of following month
- For example to view September, date range for M2 would be 09/01/2020 - 10/01/2020.
Q30 Min Utilization (M3)
- Description: Heat map showing number of OR locations in use for every 30 minute block of every day of month defined in filter for “M3” (Month 3). It is important to set the date range for M3 filter as follows:
- Start date = First day of month desired
- Finish date = First day of following month
- For example to view September, date range for M3 would be 09/01/2020 - 10/01/2020.
Max Locations per Hour of Day
- Description: Visualizes the maximum number of locations used at any given 30-minute block of time for a given month. Three lines are simultaneous shown, representing the maximum locations for a given 30-minute time block for M1, M2, and M3.
- Purpose: Allows you to better determine BOTH actual maximum resource demand AND when it occurs. For example, max resource demand may be 6 locations for any 30-minute time block for a given month or quarter, but it never occurs after 12:00pm.
Max Locations per Hour of Day
- Description: Visualizes the frequency of max locations used for all 30-minute time blocks for every day for the given month. Up to 3 bar graphs will be shown for each maximum location used represented on the x-axis.
- Purpose: Allows you to better determine how frequently maximum resources are actually being used. It does not show what time of day they are needed, but does show you may only be in a “worse case” scenario much less (or more) frequently per quarter than perceived.
